It’s hard to give an exact price without knowing different factors such as the age of home, have the ducts been cleaned before, are there animals in the ducts?  Contamination?  All these things play a role in price but typically it ranges from $20-30 per vent.

There is a lot of controversy over air duct cleaning. 

On one hand, they claim that dust settles inside the vent and isn’t distributed throughout the house because it settles but if this were true why would we use furnace filters? 

Two, some big names claim it doesn’t matter or improve air quality.  Now if this were true it wouldn’t help those who have called us to clean their ducts after moving into a home that the previous owner had pets.  After the cleaning, their allergies cleared up.  

So does it work?

If you ask anyone who has actually hired a reputable company if it works then you are going to hear yes it does.
