What to Expect
We don’t just go vent to vent with a Shop-Vac why do we have to mention this? Because, some companies do! Yes, we use a Shop-Vac as we pull back our brush it typically brings back lots of larger items such as marbles, toys, sheetrock, food, candy, and so many other items that have fallen in the venting system over the years. So the use of a Shop-Vac for this purpose is necessary, however, the majority of the cleaning is performed by our brush system and then after we have removed the larger debris we then blast the venting with a special air hose that removes built up dust and dirt.
Finally, we finalize everything with a special fogger that sanitizes the ducting system. In certain situations we may use different types of products upon your approval to help with mold, bugs, and other foreign contaminants.

Second, I would avoid these low ball offers at all costs because nobody could make a profit at $49-99 these are tactics used to get in the door then they use other tactics like, you have mold, broken venting, etc.. to upsell you and in the end, you paid thousands for a subpar service.

It’s hard to give an exact price without knowing different factors such as the age of home, have the ducts been cleaned before, are there animals in the ducts? Contamination? All these things play a role in price but typically it ranges from $20-30 per vent.
Does air duct cleaning actually work?
There is a lot of controversy over air duct cleaning.
On one hand, they claim that dust settles inside the vent and isn’t distributed throughout the house because it settles but if this were true why would we use furnace filters?
Two, some big names claim it doesn’t matter or improve air quality. Now if this were true it wouldn’t help those who have called us to clean their ducts after moving into a home that the previous owner had pets. After the cleaning, their allergies cleared up.
